This fantastic villa is designed by Robert Kolenik which had his full efforts in designing of this beautiful house and is looking really cool.
Designer Robert Kolenik had carte blanche in designing the interior of this Rotterdam villa, describing it as “eco chic eye candy for extremely comfortable living.” Well said – and well designed! Starting in the living room, the showpiece here – among many – is a gorgeous, grey couch designed by Kolenik. This U-shaped lap of luxury cradles residents and guests in its 6.5-meter embrace – all at the same time, if so desired! This elegant entertaining space is centered around a stunning double-sided fireplace feature finished in black tile from floor to ceiling. Visible through the glass firebox, an eating area invites dining and dialogue long into the night. Maretti lighting throughout the villa is art and illumination, all at once. In the living area, a whimsical cascade of glass bubbles catches the eye.
The table is topped with a white onyx slab and supported underneath by a lychee tree trunk.
Leading into the kitchen is a pair of sliding doors from Kolenik’s own Bo’dor collection.
The master ensuite is arguably the piece de resistance of the home (well, we did warn that there were many showpieces here!) complete with a walk-in-closet boasting flush fish leather handles and a bathroom that is worthy of a tour, with a freestanding soaker tub and walk-in shower wrapped in tiles like tiny jewels, and a pair of backlit black onyx sinks.
The doors are covered in brown alligator skin and slide on steel tracks. Functional, and beautiful.
The home office is all business, outfitted with a 2.5-by-2.5-meter deck with integrated multimedia. The back wall features a sophisticated Winkle treatment by Dofine, adorned with palisander wood cupboards. An elaborate chandelier overhead reminds us of delicate paper, a perfect finishing touch for this well-appointed workspace.
The dining room is deliciously modern, overlooked by a large-scale backlit art piece on the wall. The contemporary white table is lined with dining chairs on one side, and a bench on the other, easily accommodating a dozen or more.
The kitchen is bright and open with the perfect dose of drama – essential ingredients for cooking, eating and enjoying. The streamlined white island runs through the space with its integrated stove, sink and countertop and extending into a striking, illuminated tabletop at the other end.
